Muscles of the Upper Limbs:

1. Biceps Brachii: Located in the anterior upper arm, it is responsible for flexing the forearm at the elbow joint and supinating the forearm.

2. Triceps Brachii: Located in the posterior upper arm, it is the primary extensor of the forearm at the elbow joint.

3. Deltoid: Located in the shoulder region, it is responsible for the abduction of the arm at the shoulder joint.

4. Brachialis: Located deep to the biceps brachii, it assists in flexing the forearm at the elbow joint.

5. Pectoralis Major: Located in the chest region, it is involved in various movements of the shoulder joint, including adduction, flexion, and medial rotation.

6. Latissimus Dorsi: Located in the back, it is responsible for several movements of the shoulder joint, including extension, adduction, and medial rotation.

Bones of the Upper Limbs:

1. Humerus: The humerus is the bone of the upper arm and extends from the shoulder to the elbow joint. It articulates with the scapula at the shoulder joint and with the radius and ulna at the elbow joint.

2. Radius and Ulna: These two bones are located in the forearm. The radius is on the lateral side (thumb side) of the forearm, while the ulna is on the medial side (pinky finger side). They articulate with the humerus at the elbow joint and with the carpal bones at the wrist joint.

3. Scapula: Also known as the shoulder blade, the scapula is a flat triangular bone situated on the upper back. It forms the glenohumeral joint (shoulder joint) with the humerus.

4. Clavicle: Commonly known as the collarbone, the clavicle is a long bone that connects the scapula to the sternum. It helps to stabilize the shoulder joint and provides attachment points for various muscles.

5. Carpal Bones: The carpal bones are located in the wrist. There are eight carpal bones arranged in two rows: proximal row (scaphoid, lunate, triquetrum, and pisiform) and distal row (trapezium, trapezoid, capitate, and hamate). These bones contribute to the flexibility and movement of the wrist.
